Darfield Child Scalded

Denise Margaret Deacey (2), daughter of Dennis Deacey, miner, 10, College Terrace, Darfield, was running into the house of Mrs. Lawson, 13, College Terrace, when she collided with Mrs. Lawson, who was carrying a pan of hot water from the living-room into the kitchen.

The water went over the child.

She is in hospital at Barnsley with scalds to head, face and chest
