Gunner Pugsley, third son of Mr Richard Pugsley, of Springfield house Darfield, who enlisted three years ago, has been in France over two and half years, and, has been in many severe engagements.

For gallantry and devotion to duty he has been awarded the French medal , Croix de Guerre

There are two other brothers serving with the colours.
