Darfielder In Italy

Harry Belby (25) son of Mrs. Belby and the late Mr. Belby, Nanny Marr, is in the Royal Artillery.

He joined up four years ago and went out to the Middle East.  He is now in Italy.

Recently news reached him out there of his father’s death.  In a recent letter home, he refers to the death in Italy of Jack Pugsley, of the Coldstream Guards, a Darfield boy.  He had met him some time ago when at a training school in the Middle East.

Harry formerly worked at Houghton Main Colliery.
