Mann & Smith
The marriage took place at Darfield Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Dorothy Katherine Smith, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Smith, 12, Queen Street, Darfield, and Mr. Ronald Mann, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Mann, Barnsley Road. Wombwell, the Rev. H. Sigel officiating.
The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. C. Smith, and wore beige georgette and lace, with beige straw picture bat and carried pink carnations. The bridesmaid, Miss A. Knight, wore a fawn tailor-made costume and carried pink carnations.
The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Colin Dobson and Mr. Eric Mann. Mr. and Mrs. Mann are honeymooning at Scarboro’.
