Air Gunner

Frank Russell Webster, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Webster, of Snape Hill, Darfield who is in the R.A.F. has passed out as a sergeant air gunner and wireless operator.

He has just had a leave and returned to take up new duties in Scotland on Tuesday.

Russell, who is 20, attended Snape Hill Council School, and joined the R.A.F. nearly two years ago.

He was a member of Darfield Home Guard. He used to work at the lamp cabin at Houghton Main Colliery.
