Laurence Parradine (Darfield Church) is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in Wombwell junior football. He has had plenty to do this season and his speed and clean handling have been much admired. Parradine, who was 18 last Saturday, is likely to develop into a first-class keeper. He was formerly with Darfield National.
Darfield Church were well beaten by Broomhill Rangers, who are again piling up the goals. At half-time they were leading 4-0 and scored a further couple without a reply from Darfield in the second half. Goals were scored by Ward (3),Gittins, Ashton and Wilks.
