Darfield Council Dilemma
The appointment of a representative to sit on the Dearne and Dove Internal Drainage Board caused some trouble at Darfield Urban Council last night because there was no member present with the property qualifications necessary to make the nomination.
Eventually the Clerk (Mr. N. Goodyear) got the Council out of the difficulty by saying that if they would decide on a representative he would find someone with the necessary qualification nominate him.
Mr. B. Randerson was then named.
