The above teams met at Darfield. The game had not been in progress long before Darfield scored through Thirsk.
After about minutes Bailey gave a penalty, from which Worksop equalised.
Worksop came down again, and Lilley scored.
At the interval the visitors held the load.
Resuming Darfield played a vigorous game, and came near to scoring several times. They were awarded a penalty, from which they failed to score. Later another penalty was awarded to Darfield, which Turton put through, and Hound put Darfield ahead from free-kick eight minutes from time.
