Canon Sorby, rector of Darfield, who has just celebrated his 70th birthday, and Mr. Walter Briggs and Mr. G. Wellford, president and secretary respectively of the Darfield Parish Church Bible Class, who on behalf of the Bible Class, last Saturday, presented the elephant tusk candlesticks shown in the photograph to Canon Sorby.
