Obituary – Jonas Myers

As briefly reported in our last issue, the death occurred with tragic suddenness while away with his daughter on holiday at Scarborough last week, of Mr Jonas Myers, aged 75, of Highfield Range Darfield.

Mr Myers was a retired farmer and came back to the Darfield district with his wife and daughter four years ago.

Many years ago he had the Tyas Hill Farm, and later went to Ring Farm, Cudworth and also to King Well farm, Worsbrough Dale.

Since the death of his wife three years ago, he has lived a quiet life. The burial took place at Darfield cemetery on Sunday, the Rev. W, Wildridge officiating.
