The Primitive Methodist Church at Low Volley, has lost two of its leading officials, Councillor and Mrs T Hardman, late of Snake Hill, have removed to Grimethorpe.
The Young People’s Bible Class last Thursday presented to Councillor T Hardman a clock. The presentation was made by Mr TH Stevenson, and Mrs G Hurst, presented Mrs Hardman with ornaments on behalf of the “Woman’s Bright Hour” movement.
Mr Hardman joined the church at the age of 16 and has filled every office in the church and Sunday School. In addition your serve the Balsa Circuit as lay preacher for 16 years, and at present fills the highest office in the circuit.
Mr Hardman has been a member of the Urban Council six years, a member of the local Education Committee, and an overseer. It is with regret he is resigning his seat on the Council in March
