Sisters Married Simultaneously
Darfield Ceremony
Two sisters were married simultaneously at Darfield Parish Church yesterday, while a third sister acted as matron of honour for both. The two sisters were , daughters of Mr. and Mrs, John W. Taylor, of High Street, Billngley, Darfield.
Mary Amanda Taylor, second daughter, was married to Mr. Frederick Cookes, second son Mrs. of Monthaven, Middlecllffe, Darfield, and the late Mr. J. Cookes.
Miss Marian Taylor, third daughter, was married to Mr, James Arthur Singleton, only son of Mr. and Mrs. James Singleton, of Church Street, Thurnscoe.
The service was conducted by the Rector of Darfield, the Rev. Harold Drown M.A.
Mr. Taylor gave his daughters away.
