Family Traditions

Miss Ethel Boyes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Boyes of East Street, Darfield, who has joined the A.T.S. is, in the words of her father, “carrying on the family tradition.”

He himself saw service in Ireland and India from 1919 to the end of the Great War, and was called up a month before this war broke out, in the R.A.

Her grandfather served in the Army in India 60 years ago, and her two brothers served in the last war; one was killed in France and one died in Salonika.
