Darfielders On “Rock”
Willie Millington, of Darfield, who is in the R.A.M.C., has been in Gibraltar for three years.
While out there he recently met Sergt.-Major Norman Short, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Short, of East Street, Darfield.
Before joining the Forces, Millington worked at Houghton Main Colliery. He was a member of the British Legion and Conservative Club.
His wife is staying with her sister at Dodworth.
