Private H Upton

Mrs Upton, Snape Hill, has received news that her husband, Private Howard Upton (York and Lancaster) has been gassed and is in hospital in Birmingham.

Private Upton joined the colours at the commencement of hostilities, and was formerly employed at Houghton Main.
