Driving Tanks

Trooper F. W. Winder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Winder, well-known business people of New Street, Darfield, is in the R.A.C.

At present he is driving tanks, and is enjoying his new life.

Before he joined up he was a magistrates’ clerk and worked in Barnsley. He was also a Sunday School teacher at Darfield Parish Church Sunday School, a member of Darfield Church Bible Class and of the Young People’s Fellowship.
