Darfield Brothers

Owing to a misunderstanding an inaccuracy occurred in our reference last week to Irving Hall and Newt Hall, two Darfield soldiers, brothers, serving with H.M. Forces.

They are the sons of Mrs. Harry Hall, of Illsley Road, Darfield, and of Mr. Harry Hall, of Hope Street, Low Valley. Their father, who has worked at the Darfield Main Colliery for over forty years and is still employed there, was injured in the mine many years ago, and did not serve in France during the Great War. He is a native of Lundhill.
