Wearing an oyster -coloured velvet hat with a veil, and gown of oyster velvet with cowl collar and Diamante buckle trimming, Miss Martha (Patty) Thompson, youngest daughter of Mrs. and Mrs J. Thompson, Frank Button, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Button, Cross Keys Hotel, Stairfoot.

The bride carried pale pink roses. The ceremony took place at Darfield Parish Church on Monday, the Rev. – Smith officiating.
