A Goal a Game

Since Northampton Town paid Arsenal a fee of £750 for Bowen last February, the former Wath Athletic player has averaged a goal a match for them and also must by now have come to the conclusion that they let Bowen go to soon.

Only 26 years of age, Bowen, was born at Darfield, has jumped right to the forefront with Northampton and it is probable that one of these days we shall hear of him as the central figure in another transfer deal.

But the fee will be much bigger next time
