Richard Strickland (19) when over on leave likes to sing in Darfield Church Choir, where he was for many years before enlisting.

His father is organist at the Parish Church.

Richard is attached to the R.A.F. and is stationed in England. He enlisted last May, and is now following a course of technical training in an R.A.F. school, and hopes to have passed an examination he recently sat for.
