Assault at Darfield
Alfred Hirst, miner, of Barnsley, at present residing at Darfield, an old offender, was sent to gaol for a month, without the option of a fine, for having brutally assaulted Amos Robinson, miner, of Darfield. on the 2nd inst.
The Chairman said he had been four times before them since August last, and it would be a good job if they could send him to prison for twelve months.
