Colliery workers in Darfield and district are finally at the end of the coal stoppage did not mean the end of their financial troubles.

At a local college are working four days per week, while Darfield Main can only manage two or three.

It is to be hoped that trade will soon improve.

Several families are migrating to the new Doncaster Coal Field.
