Councillors Retiring.

Alderman J. H. Watson, who is due to retire from the Mexborough Urban Council this month. has withdrawn his nomination, and is not seeking re-election.

Mr. Henry Gamwell, chairman of the Darfield Urban Council has also decided to retire.

The Darfield Urban Council has also received the resignation of Mr. G. H. Hirst, M.P., but as it arrived to, late to be dealt with at the forthcoming election, Mr. Hirst is being asked to continue in office for another year.
