Miner’s Daughter Killed by Motor-‘Bus.

Batty Beaumont, the three-year-old daughter of William Beaumont, miner, 49. Snape Hill road, Darfield, has died in the Barnsley Beckett Hospital following a fracture of the base the skull. I

t was stated that Monday she ran in front of a motor-’bus owned by George White, Great Houghton, and driven by Harry Cooper (21), of 126 Doncaster road, Darfield.

The driver swerved to try to miss the child, who was struck the near side front wheel.
