Darfield Miner Attempts Suicide
John Flynn. aged 57 rears, miner, in lodgings at 10 Pit Street, Low Valley. Darfield, was found bed on Sunday his landlady with his throat and both wrists badly cut.
He was removed by the police to Barnsley Beckett Hospital, when he lies in a precarious condition.
Flynn met with an accident at work some weeks ago and has not been able to follow his employment since.
This appears to have preyed on his mind.
