Darfield Urban District Council.

The Darfield Urban Council decided last night to make a grant of £5 5s. to the National Safety First Association.

Councillor K. W. Illsley said they often made a request for danger signs, and felt it was up to the local authorities to support the Safety First movement.

The Post Office telephones department wrote informing the Council their intention to erect a kiosk at Low Valley.
