Death of Mr. Halmshaw.
The death took place Thursday of last week at his residence, New Street, Darfield, of Mr. .John Halmsbaw.
The deceased was well known the district, having formerly worked at the Darfield Main Colliery, and subsequently occupied the off-licence premisee in Providence Street, Low Valley.
The funeral took place at the parish church, Darfield, on Sunday, and was attended by a large number of relatives and sympathising friends. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. Perry.
The deceased gentleman was 55 years of age, and leaves a widow and four children—2 sons and 2 daughters.
