Garden Refuse dumped on Darfield path

A complaint that unauthorised tipping was taking place on a path between Oberon Crescent and Padua Rise, Darfield, was made at a meeting of Darfield Urban Council Highways and Street Lighting Committee.

It was said that rubbish and garden refuse had been deposited by people living in the vicinity.  In addition, earth and other materials have been deposited by a building firm, who have now promised that they will level out the unauthorised tipped rubbish.  The Company also say they will take steps to remove unsightly sheds on their land situated between Burnham Way and Valley Fields footpath.

A further report on the matter is to be presented to the next meeting of the Committee.
