Darfield

The charity of the late George Skibbeck Maude, B.A.. late of Middlewood Hall, Darfield, who bequeathed £1,000 to invested, the interest thereof to be annually distributed amongst the deserving poor in the parish of Darfield to men who have attained the age of fifty years, and women forty, and brought up large families without parochial relief, was distributed on Monday, the 17th instant, when several individuals were presented with sums varying from fifty shillings to three pounds each.
