Highest of the Season

The Kilnhurst bowling was collared at Darfield on Saturday.

Good (picture) and Baxter made a three figure first wicket partnership and the innings realised the highest total made this season in the competition.

Brown again did well – five for 10 – and he and Wilkinson (four for 33), were the only bowlers needed.

But for “Con” Staniforth’s contribution the Kilnhurst innings would have been a sorry affair.
