Mr Tom Freer, of Victoria Street, Darfield, has retired from the secretaryship of the Darfield and Low Valley Hospital Committee, a position which is held for 12 years.

He has been associated with the local hospital movement for 26 years, and for many years with the Sheffield Equalised Order of Druids.
