Batting Averages Winner

The presentational medals to the Low Valley Wesleyan C C, the winner of the “Open” shield took place on Saturday, Mrs C.J.Staniforth of Darfield presiding.
Mr Roy Kilner made the presentations.

Mr Staniforth said he had been president of the club for a number of years. Mr Kilner, he said, had one frame throughout the world, but who now, at the height of his popularity could find time to help a little club like the Wesleyans.

Mr Kilner, replying, said that given the greatest pleasure to present the medals to the winners. He advised all players to practice more, as again, if it was worth playing, it was worth playing well. He recalled the days are reduced, when they received his father’s medals. He hoped the club would obtain another field.
