Proposed Amalgamation of Wombwell And Darfield

The Wombwell and the Darfie!d Urban Councils met in private conference at the Town Hall, Wombwell, on Friday, to consider the Wombwell Council’s proposal for amalgamation of the WombweU and Darficld urban areas, with possible view to application for borough powers.

The conference agreed that each Council should appoint a subcommittee to go more deeply into the question, and report to a future conference.
