Miss Michelle Marsh (20) of 37 Ridgeway Ave, Darfield, daughter of Mr and Mrs E Marsh has steadily climbed the ladder to success with her singing talent.

Since the age of 13 she has gained many successes in talent competition, winning many trophies and prizes.

Her first success was at Beachholme holiday camp, Cleethorpes, where she won the junior Talent competition.

Since then she has entered many competitions, including one at Blackpool under the auspices of Frankie Vaughan.

She has won competitions at t Worsbrough, Wigan and the Trades and Labour club, Barnsley
