Private Bartram, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Fred Bartram, of Snape Hill, has been discharged from the Army owing to severe wound. received in. action last June.

Pte Bartram enlisted at the outbreak of war, and has served in Egypt and France.

He formerly worked at Houghton Main.
