Private Tom Brown

oldest son of Mr and Mrs John Brown of Victoria Street, Darfield, has been wounded.
He joined the Forces last August, and has been in France since December.
He received for shrapnel wounds in the right arm and one in the cheek. He is present in hospital in France.
Up to a few years ago he worked at the Houghton Main Colliery, and afterwards went into a bakery business at Barnsley.
