Keen on His Job

John Bushby, aged 19, only son of Mrs W Campbell John and the late Mr G Bushby of Darfield, is a winding electrician in the RAF, and is stationed “somewhere in England.”

He is the grandson of Mr John Bushby (registrar for Births and Deaths) of Barnsley.

Jack Bushby was well known the Darfield district. He attended Wakefield Grammar School and later the Cromwell training centre of the RAF.

It is three years since he joined the RAF, and he has signed for 11 years.

When over on leave recently he looked very smart and fit. He is tremendously interested in his duties
