Private Geo. Freear (East Lancs.), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Freear, of Victoria Street., Darfield, joined the Forces in June, 1915, and has been in France about four months.

He has contracted trench feet, which has necessitated his transference to hospital at Thornton Heath, Surrey.
