Never Missed an Issue

Driver Roy Guest, son of Mr. Joe Guest and the late Mrs. Guest, of South View, Darfield joined the Forces about nine months ago.

Every week since then he has enjoyed reading his “South Yorkshire Times, which his sister, Mrs. George Robinson, of South View. Darfleld, sends him with unfailing regularity.

He is fortunate to be stationed at a pretty coastal town and is a lorry instructor. His wife has taken a furnished cottage near where he is stationed.

Before enlistment Roy was a driver on Camplejohns’ buses and later was a driver for Rodwells. He and his wife spent a few days at Darfield recently.
