Darfield – In Hospital

eldest son of Mr & Mrs George Higgins, of CHurch View, Darfield, joined the Navy bout 12 months ago, and has been in several skirmishes.

He has been in hospital about 3 weeks with overstrain, but we are pleased to hear he has now almost recovered.

Previous to the war he worked at the Houghton Main Colliery, and was formerly a member of the Darfield Parish Church choir.
