Darfield Military Medal

Lance Sergeant C Morley, youngest son of Mr and Mrs George Morley, of Highfield Range, Darfield, has been awarded the Military Medal for conspicuous gallantry in the field.

He joined the forces in the early stage of the war, and has seen service in Egypt and France.

He has two brothers serving, Lance Corporal George Edward Morley, who was in the South African campaign, and Private John Henry Morley.
