Gunner B. Nicholls

Mrs Nicholls of Church St, Darfield has received word that her husband Private Benjamin Nicholls (R.G.A.), has been wounded in the right shoulder by shrapnel and is in hospital at Armstrong College Newcastle.

Gunner B Nicholls joined the Forces in October 1915 and has been in France about 12 months having gone through some severe engagement.

Previous to enlistment he worked at the Dearne Valley Colliery
