Soldier – Nowell, Ernest – Transferred to Scottish Regiment

Ernest Nowell, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Nowell, of Illsley Road, Darfield, who was in the R.A. and recently celebrated his 21st birthday in the ‘Army, has been transferred to a Scottish Regiment.

He looks forward to his ”South Yorkshire Times,” which his parents send to him in the south of England every week. Recently he received a parcel from Darfield Wesley Sunday School, where he was a former scholar.
