Sapper W. Parnham (25), youngest son of Mr. W. Parnham and the late Mrs. Parnham, School Street, Darfield, before being called up was employed at Kilnhurst Colliery.

He has been in the Royal Engineers for seven months.

Since enlistment he has met only one boy from the Darfield district, and two from Kilnhurst.
