Trooper F Roper

Mr and Mrs George Roper of Snape Hill, Darfield, have been notified that their son trooper Frank Roper (Royal Buckingham Hussars) has been missing since April 19.

Private Roper joined the York and Lancaster Regiment at the commencement of hostilities and was afterwards transferred to the R.B.H.

He has seen service in Egypt and France.

Prior to the war he worked on the pit bank at Houghton Main.
