Wedding Planned

Fred Rowbottom (22), of Doncaster Road. Darfield, joined the Royal Artillery about eighteen months ago and is engaged on coastal defence work. His healthy life is making him remarkably fit.

When he first joined up he met several Darfield pals, but has gradually become separated from them all. Fred is to be married when on leave during Easter.
