Private JW Swindles

(West Riding Regiment)
of Darfield joined the forces at the outbreak of war received a bullet wound in July 1916.

He returned the Front early in 1917, and was wounded in the hand on May 3.

Previous to enlistment he worked as a miner at the Dearne Valley colliery.
