Driver William Henry Watson, 19  Hill Street, Darfield, son of Mrs. Watson, was killed by a shell on Sept 26.

Dvr. Watson had only just returned to the Front after a leave home. He joined the Forces in September 1914, and has served in Egypt and France.

Previous to enlistment he was employed at Houghton Main Colliery
