Real Sacrifice

Ernest Wilkinson, 44, George Street, Low Valley, joined the R.A.S.C. a year ago at the age of 28, and a few weeks later, without having a leave, he was drafted abroad.

Well known In the Low Valley district where he had a flourishing butchering business, Ernest had to make great sacrifices when he joined up, for there was no member of his family to take over his business. He has a wife and two young daughters.

He will be gratified to learn that his brother Roy, who was In the “Repulse,” is safe and well.
