Private Arther Millward was wounded in the arm and leg by a shell about 15 weeks ago, and is well on the way to recovery, being in a convalescent hospital at Eastbourne.

Privates Absolem and William Millward were wounded in the “big push.” Absolem is in hospital at Whalley, near Blackburn.

Previous to enlistment, all three worked at Houghton Main
